Zeus was purchased at 4 years old in Whitneys Point NY. We bought Zeus to pull sleighs at Nestlenook with Fred, another Belgian who weighs 2500 lbs. When Zeus was 4 yrs old he was 20 hands and 2400 lbs. He grew to be 21 hands and tipped the scales at 3000 lbs! He was broke for riding but no equipment fit him. He loved people and his place at the Castle. In the Summer of 2013 he was diagnosed with a muscle disease called type 1 pssm. Sadly complications from this disease took him away from us that winter ... way too soon. You were admired and loved by all. We will never forget you Zeus.
